- jmolinet: The Empire State Games is a multigenerational affair in other sports. So the Keenan family story adds to the mythology of the Games. What a great backstory.
- jmolinet: The defense was outstanding. Felt more like August two-a-days with all the hitting going on.
- jmolinet: What I expect was the toughest call for the Empire coaches to make was selecting just three goalies for the 30-man roster. All six played exceptionally.
- jmolinet: Great start for team Long Island. I was very impressed.
